We cannot even begin to fathom the year that has been, this little label has reached such heights that it's felt like three years, not twelve little months.
This year:

- We launched our online store and it crashed the same day from too many hits!
- We've gained a lot of amazing Australian and international stockists including Nasty Gal, Sooki Boutique and Revolve.com
- We launched our first seasonal collection named 'Secret Garden' in February
- Ashley Madekwe from Revenge was spotted in one of our sweaters
- we spied Bambi Northwood-Blyth wearing one of our dresses
- We were at Sydney Fashion Weekend and met alot of amazing people
- We travelled to the United States and collaborated with 5 top NYC based bloggers
- We explored San Fransisco in c&p threads and collaborated with photographers
- We launched our second collection named 'Girl Behind the Blue Door' which featured our first exclusive print
- We received a lot of amazing press, and were featured in the pages of Cosmo, Girlfriend, NW, Attitude Mag and Catalogue
- Becca Tobin from the popular hit show Glee was spotted wearing her c&p threads
- We were featured as an emerging designer at the Adelaide Fashion Festival
- We photographed our third collection which will launch in the new year

Sometimes you just need to go on an adventure and broaden your mind - that's what myself and our photographer Carly got up to on this gloomy Autumn Wednesday morning. We packed our bags full of camera equipment and snacks, and set off on a mission to find wonderful new locations for upcoming casper&pearl campaigns. We were speechless when we stumbled across this beautiful old building which reminded us of ancient ruins. I'm wearing our 'Dahlia' dress in lavender, it's so delicate and soft to wear.

This cold Wednesday was packed with meetings and showings for our S/S 13/14 range. For this next collection we designed our own print so we're super excited about that! We're showing at Alice in La-La, our Adelaide based fashion sales agency which is where we found this Grand Bazaar one off bag. Each of these bags are made with fabric that is over 100 years old and made ethically in small villages in Nepal and India. We couldnt help buying one for ourselves and wearing it that very day! Thanks to our go-to photographer Carly for taking these quick snaps for me despite our busy schedule! I'm wearing our 'Lennox' dress which is available to buy here.

This a shiney new project we're doing on the blog to give you an insight into the essence of the dreamy casper&pearl life.

Today I took the day off of work and went our for lunch with Carly. I’m finally wearing a piece from our ‘Secret Garden’ A/W 13 collection which has just launched and is available from our website.
the ‘Lennox’ dress is one of my favourite pieces from the collection and I just couldn’t wait to get
my hands on one in every colour. I’ve paired it with a vintage leather back pack and Grand Bazaar jewellery - perfection. Thankyou to the lovely Carly our photographer for taking these

the year that was.

Yay! So many happy fun things happened in 2012 and we're so greatful for all of the amazing opportunities that were handed to us. In one year the brand has suffered from immense growing pains and has gone places we couldn't have dreamed.
So to recap here are some of the things that we have accomplished, created and loved in 2012.

2012.
- we celebrated our first birthday!
- many amazing stores Australia wide now stock casper&pearl
- we launched the 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Shorts' campaign which saw our 'Traveller' shorts be worn on high profile fashion bloggers and raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
-  we launched our Instagram channel and gained over 11,000 followers (one of them being Rhianna herself)
- we launched our 'Are We There Yet' S/S collection which sold out online over night, and was stocked in some pretty amazing stores like Globalize and Karibu Boutique.
- we set off on a journey to Brisbane and successfully showcased our pretty pieces at an upcoming designer fashion show.
- we opened up a happy online store on our offical website casperandpearl.com
- we shot our first lookbook and seasonal campaign with the amazing Sarah Davies whom we fell in love with!
- we launched in New York City in an amazing little boutique in SoHo.
- we were featured in Girlfriend Magazine and some other rad publications!
- we made our day-dreams come to life.

in 2013 we continue our journey of love, passion, creativity and dedication. Here is a little sneak peek of what's to come.

- the exciting launch of our A/W 2013 'Secret Garden' collection
- more travelling, designing, inspiring and being inspired.

Hello beautiful casper&pearl girls! It was just one month ago when we were thanking you for 7,000 followers on our Instagram channel @casperandpearl, and in just a matter of weeks we've reached 9,000+, crazy right! August was a huge month for us, it saw us shooting our first lookbook for a/w 2013 and we've picked up some amazing world wide stockists which will all be revealed soon! We also launched our online store and put up some pretty little pieces. And now were so excited to see what September will bring!
